Jean Larch

Jean Larch

Jean is the author of the acclaimed book “Dying to be Free, a Healing Guide for Families After a Suicide” published by Hazelden in 2006 – a masterpiece for the survivors of suicide and those who care about them.

Jean’s presentation focuses on such topics as the suicidal mind and grief after suicide. She feels education is crucial in order to recover from issues of suicide. She stresses the need for improved coping skills to inspire suicidal people to stay alive and never give up hope. Jean believes the road to staying alive can be painfully bumpy for some at times, but hopes and dreams must not be forgotten. Persons struggling with suicidal thoughts must understand they are never really alone, and today should not be the end of their story.
